Female urology is a branch of urology dealing with overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse, and urinary incontinence.
Our surgeons are dedicated to the patient-centered care and tailoring treatment plans for each individual patient. When appropriate, both surgeons utilize minimally invasive techniques.
Some female urologic problems that we commonly treat are:
- Vesicovaginal Fistulai (V.V.F.)
- Ureterovaginal Fistulai (U.V.F.)
- Stress Urinary incontinence (T.O.T Surgery)
- Pelvic organ prolapse, or the protrusion of organs inside the pelvis towards the opening of the vagina
- Overactive bladder, the frequency of urination and urgency of urination
- Neurogenic bladder, caused by disorders of the nervous system
- Urinary retention, or difficulty with emptying the bladder
- Interstitial cystitis and pelvic pain syndrome
