Female urology surgery

Female urology is a branch of urology dealing with overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse, and urinary incontinence.

Our surgeons are dedicated to the patient-centered care and tailoring treatment plans for each individual patient. When appropriate, both surgeons utilize minimally invasive techniques.

Some female urologic problems that we commonly treat are:

  • Vesicovaginal Fistulai (V.V.F.)
  • Ureterovaginal Fistulai (U.V.F.)
  • Stress Urinary incontinence (T.O.T Surgery)
  • Pelvic organ prolapse, or the protrusion of organs inside the pelvis towards the opening of the vagina
  • Overactive bladder, the frequency of urination and urgency of urination
  • Neurogenic bladder, caused by disorders of the nervous system
  • Urinary retention, or difficulty with emptying the bladder
  • Interstitial cystitis and pelvic pain syndrome
